What happens when machines in 2135 are created to be so smart that they become smarter than humans? In this final instalment of the Danger Dan and Gadget Girl series, it’s the electrifying battle between the 100% efficient robots vs the helpless humans (who are not quite so efficient and often not sure of what they’re doing). Do humans even stand a chance? Or will they meet their digital doom?

In The Robot Revolution, Danger Dan, Gadget Girl and Power Paws have to abandon all gadgets and rely solely on their imagination and wits to fight the technological takeover. Can they power through and pull the plug on the deadly machines? Sparks will fly, smoke will rise, smog will smother Singapore, in this epic battle!

  • "My students just love the energy and fun of Danger Dan and Gadget Girl, with all her cool tools. We cannot keep the books on the shelves as our students voraciously read through the series!"
—Nadine Bailey, Teacher Librarian, Canadian International School

"A brilliantly written book about adventure and creativity, set in futuristic Singapore. My students were enthralled as they travelled to Gadget Girl’s world with Danger Dan. They rolled on the floor laughing, enjoying every moment with Power Paws."
—Gracie Abadesco, Year 3 teacher, Chatsworth International School

"Reading Danger Dan is like reading about my ten-year-old son. Dan is so real that I expect him to step out of the pages and befriend my boy. Yet, amidst all the rollicking fun that's typical of a schoolboy's life, I am warmed by his courageous heart and his friendship with Gadget Girl. The story of Danger Dan is more than science fiction--it is a call to wake the superhero in all of us."
—Pauline Loh, author of Not in the Stars, runner-up for the Scholastic Asian Book Award 2012

  • Lesley-Anne and Monica Lim are a mother-and-daughter writing team. They sometimes argue, like all mothers and daughters do, but they are able to work together because they have many thing in common – such as their love for writing, eating and sleeping (not necessarily in that order). They have spoken at many schools and festivals because they love meeting Danger Dan fans.

Elvin Ching works as an illustrator and storyboard artist in Singapore. He is the illustrator of all the Danger Dan and Gadget Girl books and three of the four Secrets of Singapore series – his cover for Secrets of Singapore: National Museum won best children's book cover at the Popular Reader's Choice Awards 2017. His short stories have been published in the Eisner-nominated comics anthology Liquid City. He has also illustrated trading cards for Marvel, comics for the Pangu series of books by Martha Keswick.
